In 2007, R&T completed the construction of a 24-inch onshore/offshore marine pipeline designed to handle large gas oil tankers up to 125,000 DWT at Berth No. 3 in Banias. The project included civil works, installation of valves and fittings, laying of offshore pipeline segments with concrete anchoring, and the integration of loading hoses. A comprehensive cathodic protection system was implemented to ensure long-term corrosion resistance. Delivered as a turn-key assignment, the system significantly improved the terminal’s loading and unloading capacity.
