In late 2001, R&T completed the construction, erection, and commissioning of a central power station for three substations. The project included equipment supply and installation, system integration, trial operations, and full startup. This upgrade increased supply stability and enhanced the electrical performance for key industrial facilities in Damascus.
The project involved the supply and installation of two 1250 KVA high-voltage transformers. The work included transformer supply, installation, testing, and startup. High-voltage connection works were also executed, ensuring the new transformers were seamlessly integrated into the existing power grid of the industrial facilities.
R&T supplied, tested, and commissioned eight natural gas generator sets. The project included delivering spare parts, conducting performance tests, and training operational teams. The new generators enhanced power reliability for petroleum facilities and ensured stable on-site energy generation.
