In 2004, R&T performed an internal ultrasonic inspection of the offshore loading pipelines. The project required specialized inspection techniques both onshore and offshore to assess the condition of the pipelines. Delivered as a turn-key operation, the work provided SCOT with critical diagnostic data on pipeline integrity, enabling informed maintenance decisions and ensuring the safe continuity […]
In 2009, R&T delivered a major upgrade to Syria’s pipeline inspection infrastructure by constructing skid-mounted launcher and receiver stations for 26-inch pipelines at two strategic locations: Banias and Al-Loweibde (Homs). The stations were engineered to support multiple inline inspection types (cleaning, geometric, and intelligent pigs), enabling comprehensive inline inspection and long-term integrity management.
R&T undertook the EPC contract for the Alhosain Gas Project Station. The project encompassed the engineering, procurement, and construction of critical gas infrastructure, integrating mechanical, electrical, and civil systems.
R&T participated in the execution of a major maintenance service contract for Al-Furat Petroleum Company. The assignment included comprehensive operational support services, equipment servicing, and field maintenance activities. The project strengthened asset reliability across key petroleum fields and reinforced R&T’s long-standing reputation in Syria’s upstream operations.
R&T conducted an inline intelligent inline inspection for the 26-inch pipeline. Using advanced tools to detect corrosion, dents, laminations, and anomalies, the project provided a complete pipeline integrity assessment. A detailed evaluation report and repair recommendations were delivered, enabling SCOT to plan and prioritize maintenance activities based on accurate, high-resolution data.
Executed in parallel with the 26-inch line, R&T completed an intelligent inline inspection assessment on the 22-inch pipeline. The inspection covered full anomaly detection and produced a complete structural and operational technical evaluation. The project improved safety, ensured compliance, and supported the long-term health of the national pipeline network.
R&T, working jointly, constructed a 24-inch gas pipeline. The project included field construction, pipeline installation, mechanical works, and safety integration. This assignment contributed to expanding the national gas transmission grid.
R&T replaced a corroded 10-inch river crossing pipeline segment with a new 6-inch line, addressing critical safety and operational issues. The work involved supplying specialized equipment, ensuring safe installation, and delivering a fully rehabilitated pipeline section designed for long-term reliability.
In 2024, R&T completed a full EPC-style project for the construction, supply, and installation of an ethanol and methanol production plant. This project represents a modern industrial development in Syria, integrating mechanical systems, process equipment, and production lines. Delivered as a complete greenfield facility, it expanded local industrial capacity and introduced new production capabilities to […]
